I studied solo organ at the Music Conservatory in Trondheim – Norway. So, off course I played alot of Bach. At my final examination in organ, I played Bach’s chorale partita Sei gegrüsset, Jesu gütig, BWV 768. I also played Alain.
Today I have other ideas about how to play Bach’s organ works, than I was tought at the conservatory. Things in life always change. A musician is always looking for new ways.
Beside solo organ, I was also studying music theory and piano in Trondheim. Since this was in Norway, I was always reminded of Edward Grieg, when I drove my car in the Norwegian landscape. The nature in Norway is beautiful.
